Patient and Visitor Information

(COVID-19 restrictions may affect these policies on occasion if infection numbers rise.)

Welcome!

As you enter the hospital, you will be greeted by one of our Auxiliarian Volunteers who help you with directions and locate patient registration and then assist you with directions.

At Wilson Medical Center, we encourage patients to play a vital role in their care. We invite you to please ask us questions if you are not clear on the care being provided.

If it is an emergency, our 24-hour emergency department is ready! You may enter our emergency entrance on the west side of the building where our experienced nurse practitioners, physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff are there to assist you.

Visitors are Welcome!
We welcome all members of our community, especially those who have come to visit a friend or family member in our hospital.

General visiting hours are:

9:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Visitors may be restricted or limited due to medical conditions or patient requests. WMC does allow visitation outside of the times listed above.

An adult visitor that chooses to stay with the patient overnight may do so. Children and dependent adults are not to stay overnight. Other requests for overnight stay must be approved by the Director of Nursing.

Children under 12 must be accompanied by an able adult and never left unattended.

We invite you to stay and enjoy a warm meal in our "Bistro". Lunch is served from 11:30 a.m. until 1:10 p.m.
